I know, because anyone who has created a blog has worked  through the same issues. I am going to teach the basic fundamentals of how to write blog post  and google slap the competition with SEO optimized and why it is import to follow these guideline.

Easy 1-2-3 How To Write A Blog Post

1. Write a eye popping headline(H1) – Be creative, make sure the keyword you are using is in the headline.  Remember the goal of the headline is you want the reader to open the article. You can have amazing content waiting for them, but if they never open to see it, it is as good as dead.

2.Write article  summary – This is a brief description of what the reader can expect in the article post. Make sure to input your keyword, also this section should only be between 55-130 characters long.

3. Insert Read More Tag

4. Insert Picture at top left or right of the post  (picture based on article keyword)

5. Body Header(H2) including Keyword

6. Body of post (It is very important to make sure you have proper content Keyword Density and Keyword Hyperlinks or else your posts will sink really fast!)

7. Call to Action(H3) – include hyperlinks – Max. 2

This is the ABC of on page seo..really simple to do and in the long run it can help you a lot with organic traffic.
Great that you mentioned about optimizing the images with keywords. These carry a considerable weight for the search engines. Adding the keyword takes only 10 seconds:)
